Earlier in 2016 Price Bailey commissioned Ipsos Mori to conduct research into the views, needs and preferences of pension scheme members.

The research uncovered some interesting findings such as:

“3 in 5 members feel it is their employers responsibility to provide financial education on workplace pensions.”

Ipsos Mori surveyed 2,017 participants, all of whom are contributing to a pension scheme. However, when asked what type of scheme they were in – defined benefit or defined contribution – more than two in five (42 per cent) did not know.

The research goes on to cover four topical themes –

  • communications & engagement
  • value for members
  • education & advice
  • responsible investment.

Since releasing the report it has had coverage across several publications including, The Money Observer, Pensions Age, Employee Benefits and The Actuary.

You can find out more and download a free copy of the report here.
