Apprenticeship FAQ's

Why an apprenticeship?

University isn’t right for everyone. If you have decided it isn’t the route you want to take, an apprenticeship could be a good choice for you.

Our apprentices receive:

  • Professional accountancy qualifications, fully sponsored with paid study time
  • A competitive starting salary with benefits package
  • Career prospects and progression

What types of qualifications are offered?

We sponsor our apprentices to study qualifications including the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT), Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT) and Certificate in Finance, Accounting and Business (CFAB).

  • AAT is an internationally recognised professional qualification and includes practical, real-world accounting skills that you can put to use immediately.
  • ATT provides the fundamentals needed for a career in Tax or Tax compliance.
  • CFAB is an internationally recognised certificate that teaches essential knowledge of finance, accounting and business.

Who can apply?

We require a minimum of BBB at A Level, AS Level or equivalent.

What is the selection process?

Applications should be submitted online, we will need a copy of your CV and details of your academic achievements  to date. If you meet the academic criteria we will then send you a numerical assessment to complete and if successful, we will arrange a 10-minute telephone interview with you. The final stage is held at an assessment centre where you will meet and chat with some of our Managers and current Price Bailey apprentices.

When should I apply?

Applications for our School Leaver apprentice programme are open from 1 January until 31 May each year. We will be in touch with applicants within two weeks after the closing date to let you know if you have been selected for the next stage.

If we haven’t answered all your questions you can contact us by emailing recruitment@pricebailey.co.uk and our friendly team will be able to help.
