We want to give you the brightest start to your professional career through what we call our “StepStone” programme. You don’t have to have studied an accountancy or finance related degree, as you will see from our current graduate recruits.
If you’re interested in a career in accountancy then applying with us is just the start – soon you could be on your way to gaining your ICAEW (ACA) qualification and becoming a chartered accountant with us.
Compared to other larger firms, our approach to training is quite different – we provide trainees with an all-round accountancy experience. We think this helps to lay the right foundations and give you a broad depth of knowledge; something which will make a big difference to way your career grows.
You will get a comprehensive two week induction programme when you begin employment with us, introducing you to our people and our services. You will also undertake substantial work experience in all areas of our business during the three years of your training.
On top of that, you will also work towards your ICAEW (ACA) qualification to become a chartered accountant. So what else can you expect?
You will get exposure to a range of clients, often having direct contact with the business owner – this means you quickly develop great communication skills and responsibility.
We pride ourselves on being friendly. In fact, in a recent survey, when asked to describe the culture of Price Bailey, ‘friendly’ came up trumps. And a whopping 86% of employees felt they well and truly ‘belonged’ within Price Bailey.

We ask for a minimum of BBB at A’ Level or equivalent of 300 UCAS points, as well as a 2:1 Degree grade (or predicated grade).
We appreciate that searching for a new job opportunity isn’t always the most straight forward experience; however, we aim to make the process as seamless as possible.
If your application is successful, you will be informed within 2 weeks of the closing date for applications.
Typically you will be invited to attend an assessment center. Should you successfully complete this, you will then be invited to a final competency based interview.
