The team The Parks and Leisure Team provides high quality, industry specific strategies and support to highly acquisitive clients in the sector to include but not limited to holiday parks, residential parks and golf courses. The team has significant experience, is well regarded in the industry and provides a mix of accounts preparation and advisory services to our clients. The role As an Accounts Assistant/Semi Senior you will have ownership of the following tasks: Undertaking moderate to large accounts preparation assignments, including the accompanying tax computations Preparing monthly management accounts and VAT returns where appropriate Reviewing team members’ work and own work before passing to the senior/manager on the job Using initiative to resolve any client queries with minimal input from senior/manager Training/mentoring more junior colleagues The person You might not have all of the experience below, but if you meet the minimum criteria and are passionate about developing yourself, we’d love to hear from you: AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA part qualified (minimum criteria) Experience of working in an accountancy practice preparing sets of accounts (minimum criteria) Up to date working knowledge of VAT Experience of using Sage, Xero and Quickbooks Online Client facing experience The package On top of a competitive salary, you’ll also benefit from: 20 days annual leave (increasing to 23 days in October 2022) (with the option to buy/sell up to 5 days holiday) Contributory pension scheme 4x life assurance All employee share scheme 2 days paid for volunteering Cycle to work scheme Apply < back to job vacancies Events 20 May 2022 Webinar l Charities and trading Read more
