The team

The Compliance team provides a range of internal technical and administrative support to the wider business.

While the team is based out of our Bishop’s Stortford office, we will consider those that wish to work remotely. ​

The role

As a Compliance Support Administrator you will have ownership of the following tasks:

  • Assisting with Anti Money Laundering (AML) Reviews
  • Assisting with Customer Due Diligence (CDD) gathering for new clients, including obtaining and documenting the new client take on
  • Assisting the MLRO and team with:
    – Suspicious Activity Reporting
    – Politically Exposed Persons considerations
    – Adverse media checking
    – Review of AML compliance for new clients
    – Drafting replies for simpler AML queries
    – Updating the AML Manual and CDD checklists
  • Assisting with any GDPR breaches and updating policies around this
  • Assisting with reviews of People with Significant Control and reporting discrepancies to Companies House

The person

You might not have all of the experience below, but if you meet the minimum criteria and are passionate about developing yourself, we’d love to hear from you:

  • Experience of working in an office based administration role (minimum criteria)
  • Experience of undertaking tasks requiring high levels of numeracy and strong attention to detail (minimum criteria)
  • Prior experience of working in a compliance or AML focussed role would be ideal
  • Able to use good judgement and initiative under own direction
  • Highly proficient in MS Office packages
