The team

The Parks and Leisure Team provides high quality, industry specific strategies and support to highly acquisitive clients in the sector to include, but is not limited to, holiday parks, residential parks and golf courses.

Your role will be to oversee a high-profile portfolio of growing clients and provide them with technical and transaction advisory support. As this role involves a high level of Corporate Finance work, both transactional and fund raising, it is ideally suited to someone who has previous property transactional experience and the proven ability to provide innovative solutions.

Due to the significant growth of this service line in recent years, it is realistic that this role will transition to partner within 12-18 months.

The role

As a Corporate Finance / Assurance Director (Parks and Leisure Team) you will have ownership of the following tasks:

  • Controlling a portfolio of Property clients who require assurance and corporate finance services, including everything from workforce planning, prioritisation, management of WIP and billing
  • Working with the Managers within the team to delegate work to more junior members of the team and ensuring the work is done on time and within budget
  • Co-ordinating workload with the Partner, giving regular updates on assignment progression
  • Displaying a strong commercial awareness in fee development and cross-sold speciality services
  • Taking a lead in building and furthering client relationships with existing and new clients
  • Maintaining an understanding of the industry and clients to ensure knowledge is shared across the whole team to ensure a cohesive and collaborative approach

The person

You might not have all of the experience below, but if you meet the minimum criteria and are passionate about developing yourself, we’d love to hear from you:

  • A professional accounting qualification – ACA or ACCA, with significant post qualified experience (minimum criteria)
  • Property transactional or wider Corporate Finance experience (minimum criteria)
  • Proven ability to network and build strong relationships both internally and externally
  • Proven success in winning work from new and existing clients
  • Strong time management skills and ability to multi-task
