Corporate Finance Executive – Cambridge

Role Overview

  • The job role requires the accurate and efficient processing of client accounting information by using relevant software, predominantly Excel and PowerPoint. The role holder normally will be supervised but as capability and experience should grow quickly, supervision will become more remote.  The role demands the ability to speak to colleagues, clients and other contacts in a mature and professional manner. 
  • The role is focused on the property sector, but will also involve other ad-hoc corporate finance assignments within the firm’s SME portfolio

 

Principle Responsibilities:                                                                                                     

  • Drafting the of business/funding plans and financial forecasts.
  • Drafting of Pro Forma Balance Sheets, based on either annual accounts, management accounts
  • Drafting completion accounts and net asset adjustment statements, where applicable
  • Review of draft external valuation reports and comparison to business/funding plans
  • Analysis of historical accounts of target parks/businesses
  • Carrying out research regarding a Parks and opportunities.
  • Research into target parks, including location, opportunities.
  • Gathering the completion documents post deal
  • Assisting team with preparation for meetings with clients, funders
  • Assistance with Letters of Engagements and new client set ups
  • Adhoc assistance to the management team

 

 Person Specification:

Work based competencies:

  • Previous corporate finance experience preferred but applicants looking for their first role in CF will also be considered
  • ACA/ACCA Fully qualified ideally although finalists will also be considered
  • Client facing experience
  • Highly organised with evidenced ability to manage time

Other Information:

  • Core business hours 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (9:00am – 5:30pm)
  • Travel will be required across the region to be at clients’ premises for our normal business hours
  • Systems:  Microsoft, Caseware, Digita, Practice Engine
