Outsourcing Supervisor – City of London

Due to continued double digit growth, Price Bailey, a Times Top 100 employer and Top 30 UK Practice, are currently recruiting for an Outsourcing Supervisor in London.

The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering a high quality Financial Controller level service to a variety of clients with turnovers ranging from £100,000 to £5,000,000 p/a. The majority of these clients use cloud based packages so applicants with a familiarity with cloud based accounting systems will be preferred.

 

Typical responsibilities include:

  • Managing a portfolio of engaged clients and developing the relationship whilst cross selling additional services.
  • Compilation of quarterly/monthly management accounts including cashflow reports and projections.
  • Providing clients with forecasts and assisting with compilation of budgets
  • Processing of month/ quarter end routines, reconciliations and journals
  • Preparation and review of VAT returns and EC Sales
  • Provision of sound business advice, including identifying potential further service opportunities
  • Managing a multitude of deadlines on behalf of yourself and the wider team.
  • Overseeing and reviewing bookkeeping tasks on Xero, Quickbooks online, Sage line 50 and Sage 200.
  • Meeting and advising clients on basic tax planning and general business queries
  • Networking with local business community to generate new clients and relationships
  • Playing an active role in the upskilling and development of junior colleagues

 

The ideal candidate will be at least ACA/ACCA/CIMA part qualified, ideally with prior experience within the property investment industry. Applicants must be comfortable dealing directly with clients due to the nature of the role and experience in supervising/mentoring junior members of staff would be beneficial. Equally, a willingness to take on new challenges and to step outside of your comfort zone would serve you well due to the nature of the role. We will consider applicants with both a practice and industry background providing they have the right transferrable skills.
