Insolvency & Recovery Trainee – Norwich

Role Overview

  • This role will involve working alongside the Insolvency and Recovery case administrators and Managers as part of a well-established team. You will gain experience across a wide range of I&R tasks spanning a number of industries meaning this will be a very varied position.  
  • Although previous I&R experience would be beneficial, we would still welcome applications from candidates who are willing to learn and who have an existing knowledge of accounting will


Principle Responsibilities:

  • Assistance in collating relevant information for client take on procedures, to prepare necessary reports, etc.  
  • Preparing basic correspondence for review by other members of the team
  • Supporting the preparation of stakeholder meetings and reports in line with Insolvency Legislation and Best Practice
  • Provide ad hoc and routine support and assistance to other members of the team
  • Attendance at client meetings
  • Undertake basic bookkeeping tasks


Person Specification:

Work based competencies 

  • Previous bookkeeping/accounts experience and familiar with accounting to trial balance
  • Highly accurate and organised
  • Good IT skills
  • Highly reliable in all aspects of work
  • Strong customer service skills
  • A sound commercial awareness
