The team

The Marketing and Business Development department at Price Bailey is a high-performing team with a strong digital focus on driving high quality leads into the firm, building on our growing brand and reputation, and positioning the practice as thought-leaders within the industry.

This role will sit within our Marketing team and will support the wider business by taking on market research and data analysis challenges that will help us spot market opportunities, identify powerful patterns, discuss trends and create PR and marketing opportunities from the insights gathered.

Examples of potential projects would include:

  • Analysing valuation trends in different sectors globally to identify trends and insights and then working with our content writing team to produce insightful reports that can be shared with the press for PR purposes
  • Appraising how coronavirus business support loans have been used, what the default rates appear to be and considering relevant analytical stories that emerge from the data
  • Analysing the UK market of audit and non-audit fees to understand how size, sector and type of audit firm result in different pricing models

The role

As a Market Research & Data Analysis Executive you will have ownership of the following tasks:

  • Developing commercial research questions, collecting data (from research databases, interviews and primary research and beyond), analysing and applying commercial interpretation, and producing concise but powerful reports
  • Consulting with Price Bailey’s subject matter experts, clients and marketing to identify research questions, develop report structures and produce valuable insight reports
  • Spending time with teams across the practice to become known and used as a research resource
  • Playing an active role in finding and using research suppliers
  • Researching PR angles and relevant journalists/producers who would be interested in the research/reports developed in order to facilitate a senior Price Bailey individual providing a comment/interview
  • Working in tandem with the wider Marketing & Business Development team to support our wider activities and taking on other related duties as require

The person

You might not have all of the experience below, but if you meet the minimum criteria and are passionate about developing yourself, we’d love to hear from you:

  • Recent graduate with a numerical or business based degree (minimum criteria)
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills (minimum criteria)
  • Proven ability to visualise data in clear and innovative ways
  • Concise writing and report writing skills
  • Demonstrable ability to focus on material details based on a thorough understanding of the ‘big picture’
