Marketing SEO Executive – Remote

Role Overview

  • We have an exciting opportunity for a knowledgeable, passionate and experienced SEO professional to help deliver our digital-first growth strategy at Price Bailey. As part of a small but expanding digital team, you will have the responsibility and autonomy to bolster our digital presence by using tried and tested SEO techniques and the ability and support to create and implement innovative but relevant ideas.
  • This role offers a great deal of flexibility being a home based position. The successful applicant will however be required to visit one of our offices (Cambridge, Norwich, London or Bishops Stortford) approximately once a month, but with regular team contact remotely. This role will fully embrace the Smart Working scheme at Price Bailey.
  • The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and able to work independently, regularly communicating with the team on KPIs and progress. They will have a deep understanding of the latest SEO techniques and will be able to translate and convey complex technical language to a variety of stakeholders around the practice.


Principle Responsibilities:

  • Using a variety of digital tools including Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs and Screaming Frog to perform technical SEO audits and checks, implement required on-page changes and enhance the website’s performance
  • Research and plan SEO opportunities through keyword research and competitor analysis
  • Working with our Content Executive to create and publish optimised content through a variety of media
  • Working with our Digital Specialist, feed into our social strategy to maximise social signals
  • Monitor, expand and improve the link portfolio through outreach and other white hat SEO techniques
  • Provide regular updates to the team and wider practice on digital trends and opportunities
  • Using Google Analytics, Salesforce and Google Data Studio, report to the team on KPIs and demonstrate RoI


Person Specification:

Work based competencies:

  • Minimum of two years’ specific SEO experience
  • B2B experience
  • Experience in professional service or financial service sectors advantageous
  • Degree or equivalent CIM qualification would be advantageous
  • Certified in Google Analytics
  • Experience with building strong link portfolios
  • A detailed understanding and experience of using SEO digital tools (however, not necessarily the tools we use, if willing to learn) as well as Google Analytics and Google Search Console
  • Experience in using any or all of SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog and Google Data Studio, Salesforce and Pardot would be advantageous

Training & Development:

  • Support and training on digital marketing tools
  • Ongoing CPD and technical training where required
  • Performance reviews every six months

Other Information:

  • Core business hours 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (9:00am – 5:30pm)
