Business Development Executive – Norwich

Role Overview

  • Price Bailey, over 80 years, has grown to be a reputable and respected accountancy firm. Our website, add value content and brand drives a number of inbound enquires and the way these are managed is key to a successful, professional first interaction with Price Bailey.  We expect 50% of the successful candidate’s time to be centred on managing and documenting this process, and supporting organic inbound revenue of around £500k per annum. The successful candidate will also work with our current Business Development team supporting with outbound BD campaigns. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a growing and innovative firm of chartered accountants, in a role that gains great exposure and supports a varied working day



Principle Responsibilities:

  • Managing, actioning and documenting inbound telephone and website enquiries,
  • Organising and administering client meetings,
  • Maintaining contact with the client throughout the introductory process, making sure the process is professional and efficient,
  • Supporting with the firms outbound telephone business development campaigns,
  • Using your learnings of inbound trends to consider proactive business development opportunities,
  • Build and maintain internal and external networks to support the client’s journey



Person Specification:

Work based competencies

  • Experience of cold and warm business development
  • Confident on the phone and face to face with the ability to adapt approach according to the target
  • Able to prioritise with good time management skills
  • Understanding and a willingness to learn the basics of accounting
  • Strong customer service experience

Behavioural competencies

  • Confident, articulate and an effective communicator at all levels,
  • Well presented and professional,
  • Good IT skills,
  • Communicator: knowledgeable and assertive communicator commanding clients’ and colleagues’ respect,
