The team

The Marketing and Business Development department at Price Bailey is a high-performing, collaborative team with a strong digital focus on driving high quality leads into the firm, building on our growing brand and reputation, and positioning the practice as thought-leaders within the industry.

As part of our growing investment in the team, we are looking to bring PR activities in-house and the new hire will coordinate the relationships between the firm and external parties, including the media. The focus will be to raise the profile of Price Bailey and be responsible for the firm’s public image by enhancing our reputation and fostering trust with our clients, referrers and prospects through traditional and modern media coverage and events.

The role

As a PR Executive you will have ownership of the following tasks:

  • Devising creative public relations campaigns that suit the firm’s image, whilst developing and delivering a planned annual campaign of PR activity
  • Maximising the media exposure of research led though-leadership across national newspapers, TV, radio, podcasts, sector press and local press
  • Arranging interviews or public speaking events for key people in the firm and constructing carefully written press releases
  • Leading and coordinating events both online and in person, including local events in our offices working with the Front of House team
  • Maximising the use of media and events databases and monitoring tools such as Gorkana, Muckrack, Eventbrite and Zoom, analysing results of PR campaigns and events and preparing KPI reports for management
  • Liaising with marketing suppliers and agencies, including our external PR consultant

The person

You might not have all of the experience below, but if you meet the minimum criteria and are passionate about developing yourself, we’d love to hear from you:

  • Relevant PR or marketing degree/CIM, or CIPR (or equivalent) qualified/part qualified (minimum criteria)
  • Proven experience in PR or a similar role, coordinating and managing effective PR campaigns through various channels (minimum criteria)
  • Strong understanding of print and digital media, including rich media such as video, podcasts and social media
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Active interest and awareness of the financial news and a data-oriented mind-set
  • Experience working in the Professional Services or Financial Services sectors would be advantageous but not essential
