Professional Support Administrator – Sawston

Role Overview

  • To provide Part Time (3 days a week) administrative and organisational support to the Partner and office
  • To deliver a high standard of administrative support and world class customer service in line with Price Bailey’s strategies, policies and procedures
  • To maintain client confidentiality, data protection and other legislative and organisational responsibilities


Principle Responsibilities:

  • New client take on process including drafting of standard documents
  • Print, send and file accounts
  • Print, send and file tax returns online
  • Update workflows and trackers for accounts and tax returns
  • Routine company secretarial work and filing
  • Company formations as requested
  • Draft routine correspondence
  • Communicate to clients as required
  • Lost client process including drafting of standard documents
  • Provide support to one Partner including dealing with post, monitoring emails and expenses
  • Client database maintenance and updates
  • Scan and hard copy file Permanent documents
  • Arrange monthly department team meetings, draft agenda, attend, take minutes, circulate notes and action points
  • Arrange meetings with clients, potentials and referrers as required
  • Edit and format reports and proposals in Word and PowerPoint
  • Tax Investigation Scheme  mailing annually
  • Provide back up for front of house
  • Work on ad-hoc projects when required


Person Specification:

Work based Competencies

  • Min of 5 GCSEs or equivalent including English Language and Mathematics
  • Word, Powerpoint and Outlook to Advanced Level
  • DocsCorp/Adobe and Publisher to intermediate level desired
  • Excellent customer service and telephone manner
  • Good planning, organisational and time management skills
