Trainee Insolvency and Recovery Administrator – Norwich

Role Overview

  • This role will involve working in an admin based role as part of the well-established Insolvency and Recovery team in Norwich. You will gain experience across a wide range of I&R tasks spanning a number of industries meaning this will be a very varied position.
  • This is a trainee role so no experience on I&R is required, some aspect of office based admin skills would however be preferred


Principle Responsibilities:                                                                                                     

  • Assistance in collating relevant information for client take on procedures, to prepare necessary
  • reports, etc.
  • Preparing basic correspondence for review by other members of the team
  • Supporting the preparation of stakeholder meetings and reports in line with Insolvency Legislation and Best Practice
  • Provide ad hoc and routine support and assistance to other members of the team
  • Attendance at client meetings
  • Undertake basic bookkeeping tasks


Person Specification:

Work based competencies:

  • Office based admin experience is advantageous
  • Highly accurate and organised
  • Good IT skills
  • Highly reliable in all aspects of work
  • Strong customer service skills
  • A sound commercial awareness

  • Able to use good judgement and initiative – especially with respect to workload prioritisation

  • The hours for this are Monday to Friday, 9:00-17:30 although flexible working is available
