Stabilising your workplace for charities

2 hrs

Charity future planning

5 March – 17 March 2020.

Having a stable workplace is key to all organisations. In this seminar, we will look at two topical subjects, where a failure to effectively address could cause your charity damaging instability.

1. Off payroll working

With the new rules on IR35 (self-employed versus employee) coming into force in April for certain companies/charities, our seminar looks at what charities should be considering with off payroll working – not only from a HMRC perspective but also a legal one. Explaining the difference between employees, workers, volunteers and self-employed and typical issues which can arise if the right engagement is not considered

2. Health and wellbeing

A focus on the health and wellbeing of your workforce not only helps employees live better but is crucial in improving an organisation’s long term effectiveness and productivity. Our session will look at tips on how to improve and measure wellbeing. We are delighted that Raymond Sheehy, CEO at Bridge Support will join us to share his views on mental health in the workplace.
