Nineteen employees from chartered accountant Price Bailey recently got on their bikes for the 6th annual Tour de PB charity bike ride around the Price Bailey offices in the area.
As in previous years the cyclists left Bishop’s Stortford and covered the 30 miles to the Price Bailey office in Cambridge before heading off on the 22 mile ride to the Ely office.
After a picnic lunch in Ely’s Jubilee Park, the riders were back in the saddle for the 50 mile trip back to Bishop’s Stortford.
Organiser of the ride, Paul Fox, said: “The Tour de PB goes from strength to strength with more riders taking part each year. This year we were fortunate to have very good weather and together we cycled almost 1,030 miles.”
This year the money raised will go to the Price Bailey chosen charity for the year, World Child Cancer.
World Child cancer treats children with cancer living in developing countries and provides effective pain relief where treatment isn’t possible.
