Chartered Accountants and business advisers Price Bailey has been shortlisted for two In-house Recruitment Awards. The Awards are recognised as the most prestigious accolades for in-house recruitment professionals and are awarded to organisations which have demonstrated excellence and innovation in their recruitment practices
Price Bailey has been shortlisted for Recruitment Team of the Yearfor organisations with up to 1,000 employees, which is the most prestigious award category. The judges shortlisted Price Bailey in recognition of the in-house recruitment team’s work in implementing a centralised recruitment function, thereby reducing agency costs by £200,000, significantly increasing graduate intake by revamping its Step Stone programme, and by reducing staff turnover by 9.2%.
Price Bailey has also been shortlisted for the Recruitment Manager of the Yearaward. Joanne Atkins has been shortlisted for her leadership in spearheading the improvements listed above, most notably the creation of the in-house resourcing function and the associated cost savings.
With almost 10,000 members, the In-house Recruitment Community is the largest, most active professional network of In-house recruiters in the industry. Its annual awards cover over 20 categories and this year’s entrants include a Big 4 accountant (Deloitte) and several FTSE-100 and Fortune-500 companies, including Barclays, Caterpillar and Vodafone. Price Bailey is among the smaller businesses to have been shortlisted, and the only accountancy firm, other than Deloitte and Grant Thornton, to have made the shortlists.
