We have provided some of our history and current facts below, but firstly we would like to tell you about our company values. They let us focus on what’s important to you, the client, and to each other. So what are they?

We constantly challenge each other to make sure we’re giving you the best service we can. Does it work for you? Does it work for us? Are you getting more than you expected? Only when the answer is yes, are we happy.

You might think this goes without saying, but you’d be surprised…

We can’t give value to all unless we have confidence in our systems and processes. We need to be sure that everything we do, including our advice to you, takes into account recent legislation and practice.

How do we do this? Regular professional training for our people and independent ‘best practice’ reviews.

Consistency

Often overlooked but often crucial to a successful working relationship.

We have put measures in place to ensure that our teams use the same processes, materials and technical data and are in regular communication. So what does this mean to you?

It means that no matter who you speak to, which office you call or what day of the week it is, you can be confident you’ll always get the same experience.

A brief background

Price Bailey has been in business for nearly 70 years. From humble beginnings in Bishop’s Stortford in the 1930’s, we are now proud to employ over 200 people, each with valuable experience and a wide range of skills.

At Price Bailey, we strive to provide the services that small and medium businesses and individuals need. This includes the right blend of consultancy and planning skills to complement the more routine accountancy, tax and financial services work you might expect.

As clients you will have complex and interesting questions you want help with. We concentrate on the quality of the answers we can give you and the success of the solutions we help you to achieve. As an employer, we can also offer exciting and varied career opportunities and professional development in a very wide range of disciplines.

Now, and as we move into the future, we prefer to maintain a modern approach to business. We were one of the first businesses in the UK to adopt the Limited Liability Partnership approach which has helped us improve our management structure – we now operate with a democratically elected board of directors, chosen from the members. Which means that you benefit because we are more responsive than ever to changes in the business environment.
