Supporting our communities beyond the workplace
To celebrate volunteers' week we spoke to colleagues across Price Bailey to find out more about their experiences as trustees, governors and volunteers within their local communities...
As well as acting for charities, we do our best to support them
At Price Bailey, we are committed to making a meaningful contribution to the communities in which we live and work. That’s why we’ve partnered with five local charities, including St Clare Hospice, Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust (ACT), Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), Star Throwers and Little Miracles. These charities include organisations supporting healthcare, mental health, and community wellbeing, reflecting the diverse causes our people care about.
You can find out more about our charity partners here.
Our fundraising activities are driven by colleagues across the firm and include charity days, events, and individual challenges. We also empower our people to give back through our ‘Giving Back to Others’ initiative, which provides two volunteering days each year to support causes of their choice.
Commenting on our charity partnerships, Phil Sharpe, Partner responsible for Charitable Fundraising at Price Bailey, said:
“Price Bailey is passionate about its communities and already champions schemes such as ‘Giving Back to Others’ where our PB people can take two days each year to volunteer with a charity of their choosing.
Now, following a successful partnership with Samaritans, I’m delighted to see the expansion of our charitable support to five local organisations, including St Clare Hospice, Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust (ACT), Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), Star Throwers and Little Miracles. These are all wonderful charities, making a big difference to many individuals and families throughout our local communities.”
Price Bailey has committed to matching the donations provided to its charity partners, up to a total of £50k annually.
