Michael’s professional experience

Michael joined Price Bailey’s Corporate team in 2019, primarily working within our Charities and Not for Profit team. He holds an LLB (Hons) degree, and is both an FCCA and ACA chartered accountant. Michael started his career at the Ministry of Defence with the Defence School of Languages, before moving on to study law. He has over 15 years’ experience specialising in audit, independent examinations, grant audits, tax, academies, and charities and not for profits. More about Michael.

Michael has a thorough understanding of the opportunities and challenges facing charities and not for profits, and recognises that audit is not just a compliance process, but an opportunity to help charities build better systems and spot areas to minimise risk and maximise reward.

As a member of both the ICAEW and ACCA, Michael remains committed to upholding the highest professional standards, actively engaging in continuous personal development within his areas of expertise.
