Kate Hughes

Kate joined Price Bailey as a Facilities Manager in 2023 to manage the maintenance, sustainability and health & safety of the offices across the practice.

Although based in Cambridge, Kate is often seen across all the offices in Price Bailey with her team, making sure that everything is working efficiently. Facilities is a reactive job so she can never tell what’s going to happen at the start of the day, from reviewing processes and meeting contractors to managing fire evacuations and dealing with leaking ceilings. Kate is also a member of IWFM (The Institute of Workplace & Facilities Management) which provides information about the most recent legislation and technologies within the Facilities world.

Kate previously trained as a milliner before going into Facilities and Building management, and still has a strong creative streak running through her, so you’ll usually find her in surrounded by fabric and sewing supplies when she’s not in the office.
