Falcon Freight Ltd

A diversified logistics and transportation company

Falcon Freight Ltd, established in 2019, has rapidly grown into a diversified logistics and transportation company. Initially focused on moving tower cranes, Falcon Freight has expanded its services to include logistics, power, painting, fabrication, and training. This diversification has been crucial in ensuring a steady flow of work and mitigating risks associated with market fluctuations.

Falcon Freight Ltd is part of Falcon Group, and together has over 450 employees, with about 70 in Falcon Freight with 4 locations across the UK, being Norfolk (main site with 36 acres), Dunstable, Manchester, Newport. The strategic positioning of the facilities allows the team to operate easily across the UK, as well as perform international operations in locations such as Northern Spain where they regularly transport tower cranes.

The company is growing year on year and have plans for expansion both within the UK and overseas. In 2019, Falcon Freight acquired T.J Robins which allowed the team to diversify into different markets and expand the company’s offerings to overcome market fluctuations. Having the steady, ready-made customer base from their existing tower crane business ensures a steady revenue stream, and the additional services help maintain a steady flow of work for the team.

The growth of Falcon Freight and been quite remarkable over past 6 years. From operating a handful of HGVs in 2019, to a fleet of over 40 vehicles and 60 specialist trailers today. It is even more remarkable that this growth has occurred through the Covid era and having to navigate hyperinflation. The support from our audit partners, and in particular Sean McCann have been instrumental in that growth, ensuring we have access to be the best advice, both from a taxation and strategic set up point of view.
