Phil Sharpe

Phil is a Partner in the Corporate Finance team he recently joined the team to support the growth the business is experiencing. Phil is based in the Cambridge office where he has spent most of his career to date.

Phil has over 20 years’ of advisory experience. Having previously worked within the Big 4 and for a listed company, he has advised clients of various sizes ranging from owner-managed businesses to FTSE100 companies on acquisitions, disposals, management buy-outs and debt and equity funding. His experience covers a broad range of sectors including food, technology, engineering and financial services and he has advised on transactions in the UK and other territories across Europe, Asia and the US.

Phil particularly enjoys working with owners and boards, challenging them and helping them to determine and implement their personal and strategic objectives.

Phil also has significant experience supporting boards to develop and execute performance improvement and restructuring plans.

Phil won Dealmaker of the Year, Insider Media’s Central and East of England Dealmakers Awards 2024.

Away from the office, Phil likes to spend time outside. He enjoys running, gardening and golf. Phil recently returned from Nepal where he trekked to Everest Base Camp, and is currently planning his next adventure.
