Commonwealth Day 2025: Celebrating Global Connections and Economic Opportunities
On 10th March, we recognise Commonwealth Day, an annual celebration across the Commonwealth. The event marks the ongoing commitment of member countries, working together for prosperity, democracy and peace across all international regions.
The Commonwealth provides an abundance of economic opportunities, offering access to a population of 2.5 billion, of which 60 percent are under 30 years old, representing a billion middle-class consumers. The Commonwealth Advantage offers an average 21% lower bilateral costs for trading partners throughout the association of countries.
This year’s theme is “Together We Thrive”, recognising the 56 independent member countries who remain united by the shared values enshrined in the Commonwealth Charter.
In 2025, Price Bailey will celebrate its third year as a member of the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council (CWEIC).
Simon Blake, Partner at Price Bailey, comments:
As we celebrate Commonwealth Day 2025, we reflect on another year of meaningful international partnerships. As a proud strategic partner of the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council, we are excited about the opportunities ahead. Our commitment to strengthening our international relationships remains at the heart of our strategy, with a particular focus on our partnerships across India and Africa.
We continue to invest in fostering global connections, with many of our Partners actively engaging in key meetings and conferences around the world, supporting our clients from international hubs like our Dubai office.
The CWEIC plays a vital role in advancing these global ambitions, and we are proud to see the tangible benefits of our Commonwealth collaboration, not just for our firm, but for our clients and communities around the world.
