Adam joined Price Bailey in 2022 from a Big Four accountancy practice, where he spent more than two decades in a variety of roles, having begun his career there in 1998. He is a Partner in the Audit & Assurance team, based in the Cambridge office, and is FCCA qualified. Adam specialises in advising privately owned, venture capital-backed and private equity-owned businesses through every stage of their growth. His client base sits across two distinct worlds: fast-growing technology companies and premium retail and fashion brands, each with different pressures and different definitions of a good audit relationship. Alongside his client work, Adam has undertaken internal secondments in training and strategy, giving him a broader view of the business beyond his own team.

Technology

Adam is a familiar face in Cambridge’s technology scene, advising venture capital-backed businesses as they move through the growth stages that matter most to their investors. Audit is the starting point, but the real value tends to sit alongside it: helping founders and management teams build the financial controls and reporting discipline that VC and PE investors expect to see before they commit further funding.

Retail

Adam also advises high-end fashion brands and other privately owned retail businesses, where the relationship rarely stops at audit. As these businesses grow and their ownership structures change, his role widens into broader commercial advisory support.
