Providing sale advisory support to Building Blocks Kindergarten on the sale to Kindred Nurseries
Price Bailey’s Strategic Corporate Finance (SCF) team provided sale advisory support to Building Blocks Kindergarten on the sale to Kindred Nurseries.
Building Blocks Kindergarten was opened in Bourne in October 2000 by Claire Reece-Miller, who has seen the nursery grow to providing over 100 places and to becoming one of the most favoured nurseries in the county. The nursery has been a client of Price Bailey’s Business Compliance Team in Peterborough for a number of years, who introduced the business to the SCF Team having begun exploring a potential sale of the business. Sale advisory support was provided by Seb Humberston and James White in the SCF team, supported by Rob Burborough in Price Bailey’s Business Team.
The Nursery has been acquired by Kindred Nurseries, a large group of almost 50 nurseries across London, the East and South-East of England. The group is backed by Livingbridge and Unigestion SA.
Seb Humberston, Price Bailey Associate Director, said:
We were delighted to support Claire in the sale of the business to Kindred, and hope for the continued success of the nursery under Kindred’s new ownership.
Claire Reece-Miller, founder of Building Blocks Kindergarten, said:
Thank you to the team at Price Bailey for the support and guidance throughout the sale process. I am very pleased with the outcome, and look forward to seeing the nursery continue to prosper.
