Price Bailey’s Wellbeing and Mental Health Ambassadors

At Price Bailey we have trained Mental Health and Wellbeing Ambassadors that are equipped with the resources to provide support to anyone who may need help with wellbeing, including mental health.

The role of a Wellbeing and Mental Health Ambassador is important to Price Bailey, and we are recognising and responding to the greater need for investment within this area amongst our employees.

Many people across the firm have shown a keen interest in becoming Wellbeing and Mental Health Ambassadors, with 24 existing ambassadors, and approximately 35 more registering their interest in joining our existing volunteers.

The training has been provided by the Mental Health Foundation to ensure they have the skills to recognise the main symptoms or behaviours of wellbeing or mental health concerns. All of our ambassadors are volunteers and can provide confidential support to anyone who requires it.

Kelly Flack, Assistant Manager, HR

“At Price Bailey, we know that wellbeing is vital for everyone. That is why as part of our Firm wide ‘Wellbeing Agenda’, which focuses on 7 core areas of wellbeing, we also have ‘Wellbeing and Mental Health Ambassadors’, trained through Mental Health First Aid for England (MHFA).

We are proud that we currently have 24 Ambassadors within Price Bailey, all of whom have different experiences and backgrounds which lend themselves to the voluntary role. Their role is to support anyone who may need help with their wellbeing including mental health, and to also recognise the symptoms and behaviours of wellbeing concerns.

As part of our proactive approach and continued commitment to wellbeing, our Ambassadors also meet on a regular basis to talk through current topics and key issues. This all helps Price Bailey to provide the right support, the right resources, at the right time.”

Below, we have asked several of our Wellbeing and Mental Health Ambassadors who recently underwent training to provide their thoughts as to why being ambassadors is of such importance to them.
