Nikita is a tax specialist with over 15 years’ experience advising high-net worth individuals, trustees and family offices in the UK on UK personal tax affairs, estate and succession planning.
In addition to advising UK-resident non-domiciled individuals and clients with multi-jurisdictional personal interests and remittance planning. She has particular experience in HMRC enquiries including disclosing prior non-compliance to HM Revenue & Customs.
Outside of her professional experience, Nikita plays a key role in coaching new members of the firm’s personal tax team and mentoring school students on pursuing careers in finance and business.

Nikita’s years of experience advising on a wide range of bespoke tax matters positions her well to write on very specific and often complex areas of tax considerations. In particular, Nikita has regularly commented on matters relating to crypto currency holdings and personal tax reporting, and certain tax considerations in matrimonial matters. Additionally, sharing her experience in HMRC enquiries, Nikita has provided guidance to our audience on relevant changes to legislations that UK tax residents including non-domiciled individuals need to take account of for their UK tax reporting, in addition to explaining nudge letters that HMRC send and the steps that need to be taken.
With her particular range of experience, Nikita has also provided expert commentary on other areas of content where there is value in providing a perspective for personal tax for non-domiciled individuals. Recently, this has included considerations for inheritance tax (IHT) planning and IHT liabilities.
Nikita’s expertise have been requested on a number of occasions which has seen her feature in speaker and key note speaker events on topics including inheritance tax, cryptocurrency, and tax on divorce and separation for both Price Bailey events and for industry organisations such as the Legal Training Consultancy and UK200 Group. She has also featured on interviews and podcasts including speaking on the topic of lockdown, tax residency and the law of unintended consequences for Reynolds Porter Chamberlain.
