Dawn Turner

Dawn joined Price Bailey in 2021 and works in the Corporate Team, helping to lead our Internal Audit function.

Although based in Bishop’s Stortford, Dawn and the team cover a wide range of locations between London and Norwich. Dawn has been working in internal audit since 2017, starting at a District Council, and moving into practice with a top 10 accountancy firm in 2019, where she worked with a wide variety of public sector clients. This has continued at Price Bailey, where we specialise in charity, education and other not for profit client sectors. With the variety of clients she has worked with since working in internal audit, this has meant she has built a bank of best practice advice that she enjoys sharing with clients whilst also helping clients to improve their controls and processes.

Dawn is ACCA qualified, as well as holds the Certified Internal Auditor qualification, which she gained in 2022.

Outside of work, Dawn is a Governor and Audit Committee member at Harlow College. She finds this greatly fulfilling in being involved in the oversight of the challenges and successes of the College throughout the year (her favourite time is the student awards evenings) and being on ‘the other side of the table’ for a change! Dawn also loves spending time with family, going on walks with her dogs and keeping active at the gym.
