Rich is focused on providing advice to our clients, he’s a Partner in our Cambridge office and our Head of Tax.

His main work is in advising owner managed businesses on their structure and tax strategy from set up to exit planning, often in the M&A context. He is also one of our leading experts on R&D tax credits and the taxation of UK land and property.

Working across the practice he’s often called in to matters which are complex or potentially contentious to provide ideas and facilitate resolution with HMRC or other third parties. Rich is a natural problem solver and has a passion for adding value with his advice, he is commercially minded and is always keen to deliver results and build trust.

From his home in Newmarket Rich enjoys great food and wine, art, horse racing and other country pursuits.
