Our Tax Investigation Service is an annual service that starts and renews on 1 June each year and ends on 31 May.
There are three simple ways to pay for TIS, an invoice will be issued for your records no matter what manner you chose to pay.
Option 1
Pay by Direct Debit
Direct debit is the simplest way to pay. Each year on or around 1 May, we will confirm the cost of TIS for the following 12 months and confirm the date your direct debit will be collected. An invoice will be provided for your records with no other administration required.
Payment will be taken on or around 1 June, or 20 days after providing us with your completed mandate should you be a new client to TIS.
To sign up, simply complete your direct debit mandate below and annually we will take care of the rest.
How to complete your direct debit mandate
For assistance with completing your direct debit mandate, please review the guide below.
Electronically complete the relevant boxes:
a. Individual or business name as shown on bank account
b. Bank account number
c. Bank account sort code
d. Name and address of your bank
e. Reference – on your TIS invoice (alternatively we can complete this for you)
f. Sign:
i. Electronic signature – upload your electronic signature
ii. Sign in PDF – make sure the document is opened as a PDF and select pencil in the banner at the top of the page, use the pencil/ your mouse to sign the document
iii. Manually sign – alternatively print the mandate and either scan and email or return to us via post

An invoice for the amount paid will be sent to you in the usual manner.
Option 2
Pay by BACS / bank transfer
Each year we will confirm the cost of TIS for the following 12 months and send you an invoice accordingly, please arrange payment to the account details you usually use for Price Bailey, those supplied on the invoice, stating your reference number.
Option 3
Pay by card
On or around 1 May each year we will let you know the cost of TIS for the following 12 months, supplying an invoice accordingly. You can then either pay by card online or over the phone.
