Molly joined Price Bailey in the Strategic Corporate Finance team in 2014 as an analyst. In her early years at Price Bailey Molly supported the team on complex strategy assignments for high growth clients including M&A strategy, post-merger integration and international growth strategy. She then expanded into equity fundraising and found a particular niche in supporting early stage businesses who needed to translate strategy ambitions into funding requirements; Molly successfully delivered several challenging equity fundraisers in a variety of sectors including technology, infrastructure, e-commerce and hardware.  

A key driver behind Molly’s professional experience has been a rich understanding of capturing and applying data science techniques to growth strategies. Molly has been an important part of helping clients use research and data led strategies to inform growth and support investor due diligence. This data has been both market data and valuation data, both of which have support forecast models of performance and ownership which has aided her colleagues building forward looking scenarios.  

Molly went back to University mid-career to study psychology and has brought that back to the firm and now manages research projects and content production. Many of these projects have been picked up by the wider media and led to coverage on a variety of channels, platforms and broadsheets.  

She is also a Trustee and on the Board at the Leeds Women’s Counselling and Therapy Service, is a volunteer at the Samaritans and has undertaken several fundraising challenges for a variety of organisations including CALM.

Given her history in strategy, M&A and fundraising, Molly often writes on topics relating to transactions and growth. In particular this will extend into evaluations on valuation for both funding and M&A transactions and market sentiment studies relating to the lower-mid market.  

Molly also supervises and manages associated topics relating to tax incentives for R&D, investment tax reliefs such as EIS, SEIS and VCT and share options schemes.
